Sheffield United, the only relegated team for now, will welcome another relegation candidate, Nottingham Forest at Bramall Lane in Sheffield.

After securing the Premier League last season by finishing 2nd in the Championship, the Blades failed to add quality players over the Summer. Many football pundits suggested they might have an even worse roster than in the Championship. And it seems the sports analysts were right, as the Blades were glued to the bottom of the league for most of the season. According to many advanced statistics, Sheffield's season might be one of the worst seasons in Premier League history. But to be fair, constant injuries were definitely a big part of the problem.

Nottingham returned to the English top flight last year after a 23-year wait. Last year, they avoided relegation by only four points, and this season, they are battling to avoid relegation once again. However, they had an additional problem as the FA deducted them four points. Right now, they are 17th with 26 points, just one point away from the danger zone. They are in really bad form but, luckily, have a pretty good schedule, as they will face off against two teams currently in the relegation zone (Sheffield and Burnley). 

Sheffield United vs Nottingham Forest pick: Both teams to score

Sheffield have been terrible throughout the season, and with 97 conceded goals, they are by far the worst defensive team in the league. The second-worst defensive team, Luton, have conceded 20 goals fewer! In 35 Premier League games, the Blades have only kept a clean sheet just once! So, a clean sheet is pretty much off the table. On the other hand, despite terrible results, the Blades scored pretty regularly in recent games. In the last eight games, they only failed to score once, so at Bramall Lane, we believe they should score at least once. 

Nottingham are also in terrible form, winning one point in the last four games. However, they have been very good for this type of bet as both teams scored in five of the last seven matches (71%). On the road, the Reds are truly terrible and have allowed two goals per game so far. On the other hand, we believe they can score against the worst team in the league, which are without a motive. 

In the first h2h game this season, Nottingham won 2:1. Additionally, the last five h2h games finished with both teams scoring. Considering all the above, we believe both teams to score is the safest option for this tie.
