Scotland come into this Sunday's final fixture still in with a real chance to qualify after a brave performance saw them claim a 1:1 draw with Switzerland on Wednesday. Having suffered a 5:1 destruction on the opening night of the competition against hosts Germany, the Scots showed their heart in Koln. 

In a back-and-forth contest against a strong Swiss side that could have gone either way, Steve Clarke´s side will have been thrilled to keep their hopes of qualification still alive coming into this decisive contest.

Sitting with one point from two games, a win will virtually guarantee the Scots a place in the next phase as one of the best ranked third-placed sides. With a six-goal swing required to claim second spot, the Scots will focus solely on claiming a historic win in Stuttgart. Scotland have failed to qualify from the first phase in 11 previous appearances at the World Cup and European Championships. 

Hungary come into Sunday's fixture knowing only a win will do if they are to have even a small chance to qualify. Unable to finish inside the top two, a win would leave the Magyars waiting on results elsewhere if they are to qualify for the last sixteen. 

After an impressive 15-game unbeaten run, Marco Rossi´s side have since lost three of their last four matches, including a 3:1 defeat against Switzerland and a 2:0 defeat against Germany on Wednesday. 

Sitting bottom of the group, the Magyars will be determined to get their first points on the board, and with the Scots needing a win, both teams are sure to try to get on the front foot in Stuttgart.

With that in mind, I expect both nations to score. Neither defence has been convincing at these finals, and with both teams desperate for the points, goals should be expected at the Stuttgart Arena.
