Since returning to La Liga in the 2021/22 seasons, Rayo Vallecano was a mid-table team, finishing 12th with 42 and 49 points - nowhere near the danger zone. Over the Summer, their coach, Andoni Iraola, left the team, but very little has changed under the new coach. However, this season, Sevilla are having another bad season as they finished the UCL Group phase as the 4th placed team, and in La Liga, they are 16th - only one point away from the relegation zone.

Rayo Vallecano are in poor form, with just one point in the last four games. They are having problems offensively this season, as they scored 19 goals in 22 rounds. However, we believe they are more than capable of scoring against Sevilla, which are in terrible form. On the other hand, even though Rayo have been solid defensively overall, that was not the case at home. In ten home games, they have kept a clean sheet just twice!

Sevilla are in poor form as well, with one point in the last three games. Throughout the season, they had massive problems defensively, and with 36 allowed goals in 22 rounds, they are the third-worst defense team in La Liga. Additionally, for this game, they will miss key central defenders due to injuries and suspension. On the other hand, Sevilla are good offensively. In the last six games, they scored at least one goal on five occasions.
