PSG will be looking to keep their hopes of winning a 15th French Cup in the club's history alive when they face Rennes in the semi-finals on Wednesday.

The record Ligue 1 champions have had to watch FC Toulouse and FC Nantes win the last two French Cup titles, but Les Bleus are big favourites to win it this season. Luis Enrique's side thrashed Nice 3-1 in the quarter-finals to get this far and followed that up with back to back wins in Ligue 1.

Rennes meanwhile have not quite hit their stride this season after finishing in the top four in 2022-23. The visitors had an easy quarter-final tie as they played fourth-division side Le Puy F43 Auvergne. Julien Stéphan's side also won 3-1, but go into Wednesday's match with just one win from their last four games.

Betting Tips PSG vs Rennes: PSG to win

PSG boast just one win from their last three meetings with Rennes but Les Bleus are very good at Parc des Princes. The hosts are without defeat in their last 17 home games across all competitions and won their last three games with an aggregate score of 11-3.

Even at their best last season, Rennes struggled away from home and the same thing is happening this season. The Red and Blacks failed to win four of their last five games on the road, two defeats and two draws. Given that they also boast just one clean sheet from their last nine games, anything other than a home win will be a surprise.

  • Best Tip: Home team to win
  • PSG vs Rennes prediction: 2-1
