La Liga action takes place for the final time this season at the Estadio El Sadar as Osasuna takes on Villarreal. 

Osasuna vs Villarreal Betting Tips: Villarreal to win / Over 2.5 Goals

Both teams come into their final fixture of the La Liga season with little to play for beyond pride and final league standings. Villarreal, already assured of an eighth place finish can no longer qualify for Europe while Osasuna, currently 11th in the division can rise no higher than 10th should results fall in their favour on Saturday. 

With that in mind, both team should be able to play with a fair amount of freedom as they look to finish their season on a high. 

Intriguingly, both teams arrive in this contest having scored four goals against Madrid´s powerhouses in the past week. Osasuna scored a sensational 4:1 win at Atletico Madrid while Villarreal fought back from three goals down to claim a remarkable 4:4 draw against champions Atletico Madrid. 

Osasuna´s victory was particularly surprising with Saturday's hosts losing six and winning just one of nine previous La Liga fixtures before their stunning win at the Metropolitano. 

Jagoba Arrasate´s side have struggled for form in Pamplona, losing three of their last four matches at the Estadio  El Sadar. 

Villarreal have enjoyed some better form in the latter part of the season. The Yellow Submarine won 9 and lost only two of their last 17 La Liga matches. 

Away from home, Marcelino´s men have been pàrticuarly strong with five wins and just one defeat from their last eight road trips in La Liga.

Ultimately, a high-scoring away win could prove the best bet on Saturday. I´m backing Villarreal to win while I also expect over 2.5 goals scored in Pamplona.
