Omonia vs Pafos Betting Tips - Under 2.5 Goals
A tight contest seems likely when Omonia battles Pahos for the Cypriot Cup on Saturday with little to separate these teams in the First Division.
Facing each other one week on from a 1:1 draw in the Cypriot League, another closely contested match seems likely on Saturday.
Both teams have seen low-scoring numbers in recent matches, and I expect a similar outcome this weekend. Omonia have seen under 2.5 goals in eight of their last ten matches over the past two months while Pafos have seen the same outcome in nine of their last 13 matches, including four of the last five.
Separated by just four points domestically, Omonia finished their league season in decent form, losing just two of their last 17 matches. Yannis Anastasiou´s side won four and lost just one of their seven most recent matches.
Similarly, Pafos are a tough side to beat. Carcedo´s team won two and lost just one of their six previous matches ahead of Saturday's cup final.
Previous matches between these sides have been closely fought. Facing each other nine times in the past 16 months, seven of those games saw fewer than three goals scored including both of their last two encounters which finished as 1:1 draws.
Eight of the last 12 Cypriot Cup finals saw under 2.5 goals scored and another tense and tight contest can be expected at Neo GSP.
