Another dramatic contest could be on the cards as Olympiakos and Aston Villa lock horns in the Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg. 

Trailing 4:2 after last week's first leg at Villa Park, Aston Villa have it all to do on Thursday as they look to turn the tie around at the intimidating Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki.

While the Greeks are certainly in control of the tie, it would be unwise to write off the Villians who are more than capable of giving their hosts a tough nights work. Olympiakos did suffer a shock 4:1 home reversal against Maccabi Haifa in the round of sixteen, and while strong at home, are by no means impenetrable. 

José Luis Mendilibar´s side have lost two of their last six home matches including a 3:1 defeat against old rivals Panathinaikos. Olympiakos have leaked 11 goals in their six most recent home fixtures with just one clean sheet kept during that period. 

On the road, Aston Villa have had a good record this season but recent injuries seem to have taken their toll on Unay Emery´s side. The visitors have won just one of their last five away matches.

With both teams lacking defensive solidity in recent outings and boasting strong attacking qualities, another high-scoring contest seems likely on Thursday.
