Deprived of participation in the EUROs in Germany, both Norway and Kosovo will be seeking a morale-boosting result when they face each other at Ullevaal Stadion in Wednesday's friendly action.

Norway vs Kosovo Betting Tips: NORWAY TO WIN

While they may flaunt an formidable array of attacking talent in the form of Erling Haaland (the Premier League's top scorer with 27G) and Alexander Sorloth (the second-highest scorer in LaLiga with 23G), the Norwegians have once again fallen short in their long-awaited quest to qualify on the biggest international platform.

In a rather tough group featuring the three-time EURO champions Spain, an improved Scotland, and the tricky Georgia, which was among the top-ranked sides in the fourth pot, the Scandinavian side finished in the unrewarded third place as they continue their quest for their first appearance in a major tournament in the 21st century.

As they linger on rueful about some unforgivable errors made during the qualifying campaign, the Lions will now aim to shake off a dismal run of three matches with no wins recorded, having shared the spoils in a 3-3 tie with Scotland, before falling to a 1-2 loss against Czech Republic and being held to a late 1-1 draw by Slovakia.

However, they seem to have a fitting opponent to relieve some pressure off their shoulders, coming in the form of the Kosovo national team, who, akin to their midweek hosts, also missed out on the opportunity to participate in Euro 2024 in Germany, as they concluded their Group I campaign in a dismal second place with 11 points from 10 qualifying matches.

The unsuccessful end to the campaign prompted changes in the coaching staff, and the arrival of Franco Foda at the helm brought a fresh breeze to the national team, with the German strategist steering them to a narrow one-goal victory over Armenia in Yerevan on his debut, but shortly thereafter tasted his first bitter experience, succumbing to a 0-2 defeat against Hungary at the end of March.

When playing away from home, they often encounter difficulties in carving out positive results against somewhat stronger opposition sides, but their record of just three wins from their last 13 matches doesn't bode well for the Dardanians, who could once again find themselves in trouble against the goal-hungry Erling Haaland.

In addition, the newly appointed head coach Foda might be concerned about the lack of cutting edge in the final third of his side, which has fired blanks in two of their last three matches  and struck just once during that dry spell. Considering the Dardanians have shown themselves to be toothless in attack, we believe that Haaland and Sorloth on the other side will be up to the task of guiding Norway to a morale-boosting victory.
