On Tuesday evening, Newcastle will continue chasing the European spot against out-of-form Everton at St. James' Park in Newcastle.

Newcastle played an incredible season last year, finishing 4th and securing the Champions League for the first time since the 2002/3 season. Due to constant injury problems this year, the Magpies are not even remotely as good, and even securing Europe would be a massive success. In the last round, they beat a direct rival for the 7th place, West Ham, and are now only one point away from the Hammers. Considering that the Magpies have played one game fewer than the Hammers, they are in a good position before the final part of the season. 

Everton last played in the second tier in the 1953-54 season! But this year, the Blues are constantly close to the relegation zone. Also, lately, the Blues are struggling even to score a goal away from home. In the last eight matches, they scored only three goals - 0.375 per game. 

Newcastle won four of the last five h2h games at St. James' Park. Considering the previous h2h games at Newcastle's ground, Newcastle's excellent home record, and Everton's terrible form, we believe that the Magpies should secure all three points.
