Netherlands bring their Euro 2024 preparations to conclusion on Monday evening as they take on Iceland at Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam. 

Netherlands vs Iceland Betting Tips: Netherlands and Over 2.5 

Iceland make the trip to Rotterdam in buoyant mood after scoring a shock 1:0 win against England at Wembley on Friday evening. Jón Þorsteinsson´s first-half strike proved the difference as Iceland scored their second-ever win against the Three Lions. 

The Icelanders have enjoyed a decent run of form, scoring victories in four of their last five matches. Unfortunately, their only defeat during that run came at the hands of Ukraine in their decisive Euro 2024 playoff contest. 

On the road, Iceland´s form has been less than stellar, with five defeats suffered in their last seven competitive away matches. While this is not a competitive fixture, the Dutch will be keen to finish their preparations with another win on Tuesday.

After a goalless first-half against Canada on Thursday, Netherlands secured a thumping 4:0 victory in Rotterdam, and Koeman´s men will be expected to claim another high-scoring win this week.

The Dutch have been in good form in home fixtures, scoring victories in four of their last five matches, with 12 goals scored in Greece, Ireland, Scotland and the Canadians. Netherlands also kept clean sheets in all four of those victories. 

Of course, Iceland did claim famous victories when they faced the Dutch back in 2014 and 2015. While it would be unwise to dismiss their chances after last week's win in London, I expect a confident Dutch side to secure a comfortable victory on Tuesday.

I'm backing the Dutch to win, with the expectation that we should see at least three goals scored in Rotterdam.
