For most of the current season, Nantes were inside, or close to, the relegation zone, but it seems that they will survive in Ligue 1. With only two more rounds left, Nantes are four points above the relegation playoff zone. Nantes have played solid lately, with only one defeat in the last four matches. In the previous game, Antoine Kombouare's team played 0-0 on the road against Brest. The home side had much higher ball possession, but the quality of Nantes' goal-scoring chances was much higher (xG was 1.40 to 0.4), so Kombouare's team had a golden opportunity to pick all three points and relieve themself from the relegation pressure in the final two rounds. 

For Lille, the final two rounds could be crucial too, but in their fight for the Champions League spot. They are only two points behind third-placed Brest, so Lille still have a chance for a direct ticket to the elite European competition. Paulo Fonseca's team didn't impress in the previous weeks as they lost two of the last three matches. In the previous round, Lille lost 4-3 at home against Lyon.

Nantes have problems with scoring goals. They scored only two goals in the last four matches. Also, three of those four games went under 2.5 goals. On the other hand, Lille scored six goals in the previous four games. Under 2.5 goals should be the best option for Sunday's game.
