Both teams come into Tuesday's EFL Trophy match in high-scoring form this season and we should expect more of the same this week. 

MKD, currently 11th in League Two, have seen BTTS in nine of their last 10 home matches while seven of those matches also saw at least three goals scored. In fact, four of their last five at Stadium mk also saw at least four goals scored. 

Much like their parent side, the Brighton Academy are also a high-scoring side and they come into this cup clash having seen over 2.5 goals netted in eight of their last nine matches. A huge total of 41 goals were scored in those matches - that's an average of over four per game. 

Of course, the visitors are playing at a lower level in Premier League Two although they do have some good form having taken the scalp of Hull U21 (5:0) and Celtic (U21) in recent weeks. 

On their travels, the Junior Seagulls have a remarkably consistent record in the goal markets. 15 of their last 17 away matches saw at least three goals scored while 12 of those games also saw BTTS. In addition, at least four goals were scored in 13 of their last 16 road fixtures.

Considering those numbers, I'm taking a chance on over 3.5 goals scored in Tuesday´s EFL Trophy contest at Stadium mk.
