An on-form AC Milan will be looking for a fifth Serie A win in a row when they host Bologna at the San Siro on Saturday evening.
Milan vs Bologna Betting Tips - Milan to win
Now up to third in Serie A, Milan come into Saturday's contest currently third in the division, just seven points behind league leaders Juventus. A strong run of performances has seen Stefano Pioli´s side climb the table with seven wins and only one defeat in their last nine league outings.
On home soil, Milan have picked up five successive league victories although they did suffer a 2:1 defeat against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia.
Still, in Serie A, Milan remain a force on home soil with victories in 11 of their last 13 home fixtures since May. In their most recent outing at the San Siro, the Rossoneri scored an excellent 3:1 win against Roma in the final match of now former boss, Jose Mourinho.
Bologna come into Saturday's match in contrasting form with the visitors now winless in their last four matches since a 1:0 win against Atalanta before Christmas. Since then, I Rossoblù have taken just one point from three league matches while they also fell to a penalty shoot out defeat at Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia.
Prior to their recent dip in form, Bologna had enjoyed a brilliant start to the season. Thiago Motta´s men had lost just one of 18 matches before losing three of their last four.
Much of the visitors' best work has been done on home soil, though. Away from home, Bologna have collected only nine points from ten matches. Contrastingly, they have picked up 23 from ten home fixtures this season.
With Milan so strong at home, and Bologna in something of a downturn in form, I'm confident the hosts will wrap up a sixth successive league victory at the San Siro. While Bologna are a tough side to beat on the road, Milan have a great record in this fixture with victory achieved in six of their last seven meetings at this venue.
With all of that in consideration, I'm taking the hosts to win Saturday´s Serie A encounter.
