After securing wins in their State Cup Semi-finals, Meuselwitz and Babelsberg will face off in the 18th round of the Regionalliga Nordost at Bluechip-Arena in Meuselwitz.

In the last three years, Meuselwitz were mostly at the bottom of the league's table, fairly close to the relegation zone. This year, they are doing OK, as they are in 13th place, 13 points away from relegation. Since only one team will be relegated this year, there is no real danger for Meuselwitz. Also, as we mentioned, they have had an awesome run so far in the Landespokal Thüringen and will have a historic chance to appear in the DFB Pokal next season if they win in the Final vs Carl Zeiss Jena in May.

Babelsberg are playing one of the better seasons since joining the league in the 2013/14 season. They are currently in fourth place with 43 points but 12 points away from the top spot, and it is hard to expect that they can close the gap since there are only nine rounds left. The primary reason why Babelsberg trails 12 points behind Greisfwald is their pretty poor road record, considering they averaged only 1.25 points per game on the road, compared to 2.15 at home. Also, just like their opponents, Babelsberg won the semi-final match in the Brandenburgischer Landespokal and will face off against Cottbus in the finals. 

Meuselwitz vs Babelsberg pick: Both teams to score

At home, Meuselwitz have scored at least a goal in almost 70% of the games (nine of 13). Also, if we count the Cup game as well, Meuselwitz scored 12 goals in the previous four matches. So, we firmly believe they would score against Babelsberg, which haven't been impressive defensively away from home. At the same time, Babelsberg are in solid form, losing just once in the last six matches in all competitions. They have scored at least once in all of those five matches and should score away from home against one of the weaker teams in the league.

Both teams scored in three of the last four Meuselwitz's league games, while both teams scored in four of the last five Babelsberg's league games. Also, in the previous h2h game, we saw a 2:1 win for Babelsberg. Considering all the above, we believe that both teams should score in this Regionalliga Nordost game.
