An on-form Liverpool will be looking to extend their unbeaten Premier League run to 15 matches when they take on Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday.
Liverpool vs Chelsea Betting Tips: BTTS / Liverpool to Win
Liverpool and Chelsea lock horns for what is sure to be an intense EPL contest at Anfield with both teams in good form in recent weeks.
Chelsea make the journey north boosted by their huge 6:1 EFL Cup semi-final win against Middlesbrough last week although they were then held to a goalless draw against Aston Villa on Saturday.
Still, unbeaten in eight of their last ten matches, the Blues have slowly begun to improve under Argentine boss Mauricio Pochettino. However, much of Chelsea´s recent improved form has been on home soil with the visitors losing five of their last six away matches since the end of November. Pochettino´s men conceded 13 goals in those six fixtures.
Now facing a Liverpool side that has won 17 and drawn five of their last 22 home EPL matches, the Londoners face a massive test of their resolve. Top of the EPL with 48 points collected from 21 matches, the Reds have been in superb form in recent weeks and will fancy their chances of overcoming a roadsick Blues side.
Recent matches between these rivals have been remarkably even. Incredibly, each of their last seven meetings finished as draws although five of those games did take place at Stamford Bridge. At this venue, Liverpool have won just one of their last four matches against Chelsea.
While that record is slightly concerning, I expect Liverpool to maintain their winning form on Wednesday. Goals at both ends also seems likely. The Reds have seen BTTS in six of their last seven home matches while Chelsea have seen the same outcome in six of their last eight away EPL contests.

Liverpool team news
Outgoing Liverpool boss Klopp is again able to call on full-backs Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson after both made their comebacks in the Reds 5:2 win against Norwich on Sunday.
However, the hosts remain unable to call on Mohamed Salah, Joel Matip, Kostas Tsimikas, Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic due to injury, while Wataru Endo remains on international duty at the Asian Cup.
