Lille can secure a place in next season's Champions League when they take on Nice in their final game of the Ligue 1 season at Decathlon Arena.

Having secured a vital win at Nantes last weekend, Lille can claim their place in the UCL with a victory against Nice this weekend. While the visitors have already secured fifth place in Ligue 1, Lille know any dropped points on Sunday could see Brest leapfrog them into third place. 

Paulo Fonseca´s side have been in decent form over the past couple of months, particularly on home soil. The hosts have won six and lost just two of their last ten Ligue 1 matches while they have claimed victory in nine of their previous 13 home league fixtures. 

Strong in attack, Lille have scored an average of 2.4 goals in their last ten home fixtures and with UCL qualification now in sight, will be desperate to claim the spoils this weekend. 

Nice come into this fixture also in good form despite a 2:1 defeat against PSG last weekend. Francesco Farioli´s side collected ten points from their four previous league matches, securing a return to the Europa League next season. 

On their travels, Nice are no pushovers. The visitors are unbeaten in their last four away fixtures with impressive 3:1 wins at Lens and Strasbourg picked up during that run. 

Given both teams decent form, goals look likely on Sunday. Lille have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals in seven of their nine most recent fixtures while Nice have seen the same outcome in eight of their last 11 contests. 

With a UCL place on the line, I expect Lille to claim the spoils in an entertaining contest where we can also expect BTTS, and over 2.5 goals to land.
