After spending three seasons in the Premier League, Leeds were relegated last year by finishing 19th. They were in a superb position to secure survival, but the Whites got relegated due to a terrible season finished when they won two points in nine games. This year, they are surely one of the favorites for promotion and are currently 4th with 54 points, just four away from the desired 2nd place.

In December, they had a rough period, but it looks like that is behind them after winning four in a row.

Norwich City are a team that constantly moved between the Premier League and the Championship in the last decade and a half. Last year, similar to their next opponent, Leeds, the Canaries also had an atrocious finish of the season and, because of it, missed the playoffs. This year, they are looking slightly better as they currently hold 8th place, just two away from the Playoff spots. However, with three wins in a row, we can safely say they are in very good form and have every reason to be optimistic. 

Leeds United vs Norwich City pick: Over 2.5 goals

With 50 goals, Leeds United have the third-best offense in the Championship. But in recent games, they really impressed as they scored 11 goals in four games - 2.75 per game. Mainly because of their incredible offensive display, they were over 2.5 goals in those previous four games. Additionally, at home, the Whites were superb offensively, scoring at least two goals in eight of the last nine games. Still, considering they have the highest xG in the league at home (2.02), that is not really a surprise. 

Norwich are in good form, winning three in a row while scoring seven goals - 2.33 per game. Away from home, they are one of the best teams for an over 2.5 goals bet, as we saw three or more goals in 11 of 14 league games (78.6%).

Traditionally, these teams have played mostly high-scoring games in the previous h2h matchups. They were over 2.5 goals in the last six h2h games! Considering the previous h2h games, Leeds's offensive potential, and the fact that Norwich mostly plays high-scoring games away from home, we believe that an over 2.5 goals bet is the best bet for this tie.
