Last year, Las Palmas secured a return to the Spanish top-flight division after five seasons in La Liga 2. Even though many football pundits expected a tough relegation battle this year, the team from the Canary Islands had a furious start to the season. They even flirted with the top seven finish and European appearance next year. However, due to a pretty bad last part of the season, Los Amarillos dropped in the standings. Now, they are in 12th place with 37 points, and it seems that a mid-table finish is the most possible scenario. 

Sevilla are playing another terrible season in La Liga, at least by their standards. Last year, they finished 11th, but a title in the Europa League significantly improved the whole picture. This season, no one thought they would be as bad as last season, but instead, they've struggled even more. Right now, the Andalusian team finds themselves in 14th place, a mere six points clear of the relegation zone.

On one side, they are among the worst offensive teams with 29 scored goals in 30 rounds, but on the positive side, with 33 allowed goals, they are on a level with the teams battling for Europe. Additionally, their offense has been really bad in recent matches, failing to score in three consecutive matches. 

Sevilla are really inconsistent and difficult to predict. However, away from home, we can see that their offense is much worse, considering they average only 1.07 goals per game, compared to 1.4 at home - which is a significant drop.
