Huracan vs Independiente prediction 09.02.2024

Huracan made a lot of transfers this January. Only one important player from the last season left the club (Matias Coccaro, who went to Montreal). On the other hand, Huracan made a few transfers that should keep among solid teams in the strongest Argentinian competition. Leandro Garate, who scored 16 goals for Union Espanola in 2023, is the player that should replace Coccaro in scoring. Huracan also signed Hernan Galindez (from Aucas), Hernan de la Fuente (Famalicao), Guillermo Burdisso (Universidad Catolica), and Agustin Toledo (loan from Temperley). 

Independiente changed a lot of players this January too. The team left most players that didn't have a big role in 2023. On the other hand, a big addition for Independiente should be Gabriel Avalos, who scored 21 goals in all competitions for Argentinos Juniors in 2023. Avalos didn't score in three games for Independiente in 2024, but a player of his class should start producing very soon. Also, Independiente signed a reliable center-back Jhonny Quinonez (from Aucas), Juan Fedorco (Nueva Chicago), Alex Luna (loan from Atletico de Rafaela), Adrian Sporle (Arsenal Sarandi), Gabriel Neves (loan from Sao Paulo), and Ignacio Maestro Puch (loan from Atletico Tucuman). Independiten will certainly start playing even better when all those players gel with each other.
