Last and first in the Danish second division meet on Friday evening when Hobro welcomes Sonderjyske to the DS Arena.

Hobro are having their worst 1st Division campaign in over three years. Martin Thomsen’s side weren’t that good in the last three seasons, but they managed to finish above the bottom three. The Blue Army are languishing at the bottom of the standings and have won just three of their eight games in the second part of the campaign. Sonderjyske meanwhile are favorites to be promoted to the Superliga. The visitors have only lost four times this season, picking up 66 points from their 30 games, and sit seven points clear of second placed AaB. They are unbeaten in their last eight league games and will definitely be hoping to extend that run this week.
