Scottish Premiership action continues on Wednesday evening as Rangers take on Hibernian at Easter Road.

Hibernian vs Rangers Betting Tips - Rangers Win

Rangers make the journey to Edinburgh knowing they can cut the gap on leaders Celtic to five points with a win at Easter Road. Eight points behind the champions but with two games in hand, the Gers will see this fixture as one they cannot afford to drop points in. 

Since the arrival of Belgian boss Phillipe Clement in October, Rangers have been in superb form with 11 wins and just one loss in 12 league matches. Clement´s charges come into this fixture after another win - this time a 4:1 Scottish Cup win against Dumbarton.

On the road, the Gers have been pretty solid this season with seven wins and only two losses recorded from 10 matches while they have won four of their last five away matches against Hibernian since January 2021. 

Hosts Hibernian failed to win any of their last three league matches (D1, L2) before a narrow 1:0 win at Forfar in the Scottish Cup this past weekend. The Hibees sit sixth in the Premiership, 21 points behind the Gers after 20 matches played.

At Easter Road, Nick Montgomery´s men remain an inconsistent bunch. The Edinburgh-based side have won three, lost three and drawn four of ten home league matches this season. 

Ultimately, while the hosts are sure to make this a competitive affair, I expect Rangers to return to Glasgow with a vital three points in the bag. I'm backing the Gers in the WDW market with an expectation we could see a few goals in a likely engaging contest.
