Last year, Hellas Verona barely secured survival, as they had to play against Spezia in the additional game. They survived somehow but found themselves battling for survival once again. Throughout the season, they flirted with the relegation zone, but with two wins in the last three games, they gained some separation from the bottom three teams and are now four points away. However, since there are three rounds left, the Mastiffs are not out of the woods yet and will have to continue winning points. 

Torino are playing its 12th consecutive season in Serie A, where they were mostly a mid-table team. This year, they are on pace for another mid-table finish, sitting in 10th spot with 47 points. They are now four points away from 8th-placed Napoli and three away from the 9th-placed Fiorentina, but with one game played more. However, there is a scenario where Torino could reach Europe even from 10th place. Still, for that to happen, Atalanta or Roma have to win the Europa League, and Fiorentina have to win the Europa Conference League.

Verona are in good form, having won two of their last three games, including an excellent 2:1 win over Fiorentina in the last round. Additionally, the Mastiffs lost just once in the last four matches, but that was on the road against Lazio. Generally speaking, Verona have been much better at home. They averaged 1.35 points per game at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, compared to only 0.61 ppg away from it. 

On the other hand, Torino are in terrible form, having failed to win in the last five matches and even failing to score in the last four! This season, Il Toro only won four times away from home. All four wins came against poor teams - Salernitana, Udinese, Cagliari, and Lecce. 

In the first h2h game, we saw a goalless draw in a really close match. Now, at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, another close match is expected, but considering the difference in form, Hellas Verona should be a bit closer to winning this Serie A game.
