In the last decade, Granada constantly moved between La Liga and La Liga 2. Last year, they gained promotion, but it seems they are well on the way to a return to the second tier. The Andalusian team is 19th, 14 points away from the safe zone, although with a game played less than most of the league. Considering there are only nine games left for Granada and taking their terrible form into consideration, it would take a miracle to see them in La Liga next year. On top of that, they have a demanding schedule for the remainder of the season. 

Last year, Valencia barely escaped the relegation, finishing 16th, just two points away from the danger zone. This season, the popular Bats are having a better season, as they are 8th with 41 points and looking for their first European appearance since the 2019/20 season. They will hardly reach 6th place, but if Athletic Bilbao wins the Cup, the Bats can reach Europe from 7th place. At this moment, 7th-placed Betis are only one point away, but Valencia had a game less. So, a win over a struggling Granada would put them in an excellent position.

Granada lost four in a row and are without a win in the last ten matches. During that ten-game stretch, Granada only scored eight goals - 0.8 per game. Primarily because of their bad offensive performances, Granada were under 2.5 goals in seven of the last ten matches.

With 32 goals scored in 29 matches, Valencia are among the worst offensive teams in the league. Recently, they were even worse, as they scored only three goals in six games, which is well below their average. Still, good defense keeps them pretty high on the league table.

In the first h2h game this season, at Estadio de Mestalla, Valencia won 1:0, scoring their only goal from the penalty spot. Considering that and both teams' terrible offensive displays in recent matches, we firmly believe we will see a low-scoring game.
