On Sunday afternoon, Getafe and Mallorca will face off at Coliseum in Getafe in the last round of La Liga. 

In the previous three years, Getafe had three similar years, finishing 15th - two, one, and four points away from the danger zone. This year, the Azulones were mostly in the middle of the league's table for the majority of the season and are now in 12th place. However, they did not win too many points more than in the previous seasons, but since the bottom few teams were really bad, Getafe found themselves ten points away from the danger zone.

Mallorca came to this season after a really good one when they finished 9th - just three points away from Europe. However, they did not continue with good performances in La Liga and were constantly around the danger zone. Right now, they are 17th with only 37 points, but since they are four points away from 18th-placed Cadiz, they will stay in the league regardless of the result in the last game. Even though they were far from impressive in La Liga, a team from the Balearic Islands had a great run in the Cup, as they reached the finals but eventually lost to Athletic Bilbao after the penalty shootout. 

Getafe vs Mallorca pick: Under 2.5 goals

Around the time Getafe mathematically secured survival, they started playing much worse and lost four in a row, while failing to score every time! So, it is hard to expect a good offensive performance in another game where they have no motive.

Mallorca are one of the best teams in La Liga for this type of bet, as 27 of their 37 games finished with fewer than three goals. Only Cadiz had more games (28) with fewer than three goals than Mallorca. Additionally, Mallorca have played mostly low-scoring games and were under 2.5 goals in four of the last five. Also, away from home, Mallorca has struggled offensively, averaging only 0.78 goals per game. 

In the first h2h game this season, we saw a goalless draw. Looking back, we can see a similar trend of low-scoring games since five of the last six h2h games ended with fewer than three goals. Considering all the above, we beleive an under 2.5 goals is the best choice for this La Liga tie.
