Future FC became one of the best teams in Egypt, securing fourth and third place in the previous two seasons and even winning the League Cup in the 2021/22 season. However, this season is not going according to plan. They are in 10th place with 32 points, five points away from the desired 3rd place and the qualifiers for the continental competition next year. However, in the league, they are in a strange situation since they have played seven games fewer than 1st-placed Pyramids and most of the league. Still, Al Ahly will have a tough job catching up with Pyramids since Al Ahly averaged 2.2 points per game, compared to Pyramids' 2.41 ppg. So, pretty much every game is a must-win.

Future FC are far from the expected level this year. In the league, they won just once in the last eight matches! They even changed the coach lately to try to shift the team's negative momentum. It seems they are improving, but we do not believe they have what it takes to get a positive result against the best team in Africa.

Al Ahly just won the CAF Champions League, and morale will surely be at an all-time high. They are playing really well lately and have won six of the previous seven games in all competitions.
