Hosts Heidenheim have plenty of reasons to be confident as they take on Dortmund this coming weekend with the hosts currently unbeaten in six league matches. After an impressive run of victories against Darmstadt, Mainz and Freiburg, Frank Schmidt´s side have since drawn three-in-a-row against Koln, Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim. 

In their first-ever season in the Bundesliga, Heidenheim have certainly settled well to life in Germany´s top flight. Schmidt´s boys have won five and lost just two of nine home league matches, and now sit 10th in the division, some 11 points clear of the drop zone.

Goals can usually be expected when Heidenheim are involved - Six of the hosts previous nine home matches have seen BTTS, including each of the last three while they only failed to net in one of those games. In addition, they also claimed a 2:2 draw when these sides met at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK earlier in the season. 

Dortmund come into Friday's fixture boosted by back-to-back away wins at Darmstadt and Koln in their two most recent road fixtures. Edin Terzic´s side had failed to win four successive away matches before those two victories on their travels.

Still, Dortmund are hardly the most reliable side this season. Currently fourth in the division, BVB have won just four of nine away Bundesliga matches although they are unbeaten in their last five league fixtures.

Given the hosts excellent form at Voith-Arena, I would be surprised if Heidenheim failed to score on Friday.  Dortmund have kept only two clean sheets in their 13 away games prior to their recent away wins at relegation struggles Darmstadt and Koln. 

Eleven of Dortmund's last 14 away from home saw BTTS and with Heidenheim seeing that outcome in their last three home matches, both to score looks the best option on Friday.
