According to bookies, England and France are the main favorites to win EURO this summer. Gareth Southgate will use matches until the tournament to test some players, but also to make tactical tweaks to improve team. On Saturday, England played against Brazil in a friendly match in which Southgate's team were the favorite to win, but South Americans still won 1-0. England finished the game with an xG of 0.85, while the guests had 2.18, so the Brazilian win was well deserved.
Belgium are not among the main favorites in the EURO, but they should still be good enough for the quarterfinal. Belgium have been impressive in more than a year, with eight wins and four losses in the previous 12 matches. On Saturday, Belgium played 0-0 on the road against Ireland. Like England, they were the favorite to win, but Belgium showed less than their opponents, so they can be satisfied with avoiding defeat.
England vs Belgium pick: Under 2.5 goals
In the previous friendlies, both teams showed a lack of creativity in midfield, so under 2.5 goals should be a suitable bet for the upcoming tie.

England team news
England lost against Brazil, but the head coach, Gareth Southgate, was still satisfied. He said, "I don't like losing matches. I thought there were lots of very good individual performances from players who've hardly played for England. I thought our regular players were very good. With 15 minutes to go, we're thinking we've managed to see a lot of new players. We've had our share of the game. We've had as many attempts on goal as they have. The difference in the end was one moment. That is the ruthlessness at this level."
Of course, England were without injured Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, who will miss the game against Belgium too.

Belgium team news
Belgium's head coach, Domenico Tedesco, wasn't pleased with his team's draw against Ireland. He said, "It was not easy, it was not easy for the players, it was boring from both teams with not many chances. Look at the second half in particular; they didn't have one shot at our goal, and we had just one; that made it boring, but it was not easy for the players; there were no spaces between the lines, and if you play slowly, pass slowly, it's easier for them to move. We had a starting XI with many young players who did not have the rhythm; we calculated that we would have a lack of intensity and structure; this team had never played together before,"
Belgium are without injured Romelu Lukaku and Charles De Ketelaere.
