Leverkusen make the journey to Frankfurt after extending their unbeaten run to 47 matches with a vital 2:0 win against Roma in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday.

Already crowned kings of Germany, Xabi Alonso´s side remain on track to complete a remarkable treble with the German Cup final still to come later this month. 

On their travels, Leverkusen have won seven of their last away Bundesliga matches with their last defeat coming almost  a year ago at Bochum. 

Contrastingly, Eintracht have endured a tough run of form which has seen them win just one of their last six matches. Despite losing three of those matches, Dino Toppmoller´s side remains sixth in the division, and on-course to secure European qualification.

At Deutsche Bank Park, Eintracht are still a tough side to beat though. Frankfurt are unbeaten in their last nine home league matches, while they have lost just one of their last 25 over the past 18 months. 

Goals can usually be expected at this venue - Nine of Eintracht´s last 11 home matches saw BTTS while seven of their last 11 also saw at least three goals netted. 

Historically, this fixture has proven a high-scoring one. Just one of the last 13 meetings between these sides saw fewer than three goals scored, while six of their last contests also saw BTTS. 

While Leverkusen are favourites on Sunday, it is worth noting that Eintracht have won their last five home matches against Bayer with five goals scored in both of their last two victories over the past two years.

With that in mind, I´m confident both teams will score in a game that should see at least three goals scored.
