On Tuesday evening, two Championship sides, Coventry and Sheffield Wednesday, will face off in the FA Cup 1/16 Finals replay match at a Coventry Building Society Arena in Coventry.

Last season, Coventry was super close of reacing the Premier League. They lost in the Playoffs Finals vs Luton Town after a penalty shootout. However, this season, the Sky Blues had a pretty poor start to the season, and after 17 rounds, were very close to dropping into the danger zone. But after that atrocious start, they started playing a lot better and are now close to the playoffs. At the moment, they are 7th with 44 points and 30 rounds - only one point away from the playoffs, but with one game more than 6th-place Hull City. 

Sheffield Wednesday secured promotion from League One last year, but this season, the popular Owls are on their way to returning back if something doesn't change soon. At this moment, they are 23rd, with 23 points from 30 rounds - already eight points away from the safe zone. Even though they are not that far away from the safe zone, recent results are a big reason for concern for the Owls, considering they won just two points in the last five games in all competitions. 

Coventry vs Sheffield Wednesday pick: Coventry to win and cover the -1 AH spread

Coventry were on a superb run as they were undefeated in 12 straight games in all competitions. They eventually lost to Norwich 2:1 in the last round away from home, but to be fair, they received a red card, and that was the primary reason for their loss. Still, that is only one game against a good team, away from home and with one player fewer, so we can definitely give them a pass on that one. 

On the other hand, Sheffield Wednesday is in terrible form, with two points in the last five games. Away from home, they have been atrocious throughout the season, losing 12 of 15 games (80%). So, it is hard to expect a positive result against a good Championship team.

Before the FA Cup game, where we saw a 1:1 draw, these teams met twice in the league, with Coventry winning both matches - 2:0 at home and 2:1 away from it. Considering the difference in form, the previous h2h games, and Sheffield's atrocious road record, we strongly believe that the Sky Blues will secure a comfortable win at their stadium.
