After a 3:2 for Fiorentina in the first leg of the Europa Conference League Semi-Finals in Italy, Club Brugge and Fiorentina will face off in the second leg at Jan Breydel Stadion in Brugge. 

Club Brugge is one of the biggest clubs in Belgium, but they failed to win any trophy last year, ending the season as the worst team in the Championship group. This year, it looked like they could easily have a similar season. However, since changing the coach and entering the season's final stage, they have been great and are now holding the top spot, two away from the second-placed Anderlecht. In the ECL, they had already overcome a one-goal deficit from the first leg against Molde in the 1/8 FInals when they dominated the game at home, winning 3:0. It will be interesting to see if they can do it again, this time against Fiorentina.

Fiorentina are having a pretty similar season in Serie A compared to the last two when they finished 7th and 8th. Right now, they are in 8th place with 50 points, on a level with points with 9-placed Napoli. Last year, Viola had an awesome run in the ECL and Coppa Italia but lost in the finals in both competitions. This year, they are once again in a superb position to reach the ECL Finals after a 3:2 win in the first leg. The bookmakers now see them as the primary candidate for the title, with the odds set at around 2.35.

Club Brugge vs Fiorentina pick: Over 2.5 goals

Club Brugge are in excellent form, having won eight of nine last games in all competitions. During that period, they have scored 22 goals (2.44 per game). At home, they have been simply great, with six straight wins while scoring three or more goals in five of those six matches. So, we believe they can score at least a couple against Fiorentina as well.

Fiorentina have only played high-scoring games in recent matches and were over 2.5 goals in the last four matches in all competitions, with both teams scoring in all of them. Away from home, Viola have been pretty poor, so we suggest staying away from the betting on Fiorentina, even though they are certainly a better team overall. 

In the first leg, Fiorentina won 3:2 in a super-exciting match. Considering the first leg and all the above, we believe that an over 2.5 goals bet is the safest choice for this ECL tie.
