Chelsea will be looking to finish their Premier League season in style when they host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Both teams have proved an entertaining watch in recent weeks and another high-scoring contest seems likely when these sides face off.

Hosts Chelsea come into this contest having seen over 2.5 goals in 11 of their last 12 EPL matches. Eight of those games saw BTTS while the Blues have seen an average of 4.4 goals scored in their last 16 EPL runouts. 

Now up to sixth in the division following an excellent run which has seen them win eight and lose just one of their last 14 EPL matches, the Blues sit just three points behind London rivals Tottenham.

At Stamford Bridge, Mauricio Pochettino´s men have won nine and lost just one of their last 11 league fixtures. The Blues scored an average of 2.9 goals in those 11 matches.

While in great form, the hosts cannot under-estimate the challenge of the Cherries who arrive in London looking to avoid a third successive EPL defeat. Despite recent losses, Bournemouth sit comfortably in mid-table with 48 points amassed under Spanish boss Andoni Iraola.

Like Chelsea, the Cherries are usually a reliable choice in the goal markets. Iraola´s side have seen over 2.5 goals scored in 9 of their last 11 EPL matches. Seven of those games also saw BTTS.

On their travels, Bournemouth scored in 13 successive away fixtures before drawing a blank in a 3:0 defeat at Arsenal a fortnight ago. Prior to that result, the Cherries failed to score in just one road match this season. An average of over 3.5 goals was scored in their last 15 away EPL games, again indicating the likelihood of a high-scoring occasion this Sunday.

In the end, I expect BTTS, over 2.5 goals and a Chelsea win in this weekend's final round of Premier League matches.
