Burnley’s fight to secure top flight safety will continue this weekend when the Clarets travel to the Falmer Stadium where they will face Brighton & Hove Albion.
Brighton have historically been one of the teams in the Premier League whose main aim is to avoid relegation, but after securing European football for the first time in their history last season, many have high expectations of them. Roberto de Zerbi's men have suffered just four defeats this season, but too many draws have left them outside the top seven.
Burnley were looking to build on last weekend's 5-0 win over Sheffield United when they travelled to Wolves in midweek for Match Day 14. Vincent Kompany's side started well, but the injury to exciting forward Luca Koleosho after just 36 minutes turned the tide as defeat was inflicted. The Clarets have now suffered defeat in each of their last five away games, but Burnley fans will take comfort from the fact that they won 3-0 on their last visit to the Falmer Stadium.
Brighton vs Burnley Betting Tips: Both teams to score
One of the main reasons why Brighton are not in the European places is their shaky defence. De Zerbi's side have scored at least one goal in all fifteen Premier League games so far this season but didn't keep a clean sheet in any of them. They also failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last three encounters with the visitors.
Burnley also have a lot of problems in defence. The Clarets are also yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season and have conceded the second-most goals. Kompany's side themselves have scored in three of their last four games, so a goal can certainly be expected here.

Burnley team news

Jay Rodriguez and Zeki Amdouni are expected to reunite in the final third, while Nathan Redmond and Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson are pushing for starts in the middle of the park.
