A high-scoring Bundesliga contest seems near inevitable when Dortmund take on Frankfurt this weekend. Both recent form and past meetings suggest we should be ready for a potentially thriller in Sunday's live TV contest. 

Dortmund come into this contest in high spirits after three successive victories including a 2:0 midweek Champions League victory against PSV.  Edin Terzic´s side have lost just one of their last 14 matches since December while they have won three of their last four at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. 

At this venue, BVB have seen over 2.5 goals in six of their last seven home matches with five of those seven games also seeing BTTS. Dortmund only managed one clean sheet in those seven fixtures. 

Visiting Eintracht arrive in Dortmund having seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals in EACH of their last SIX Bundesliga matches. Four of their last five road matches also saw both outcomes. 

While those stats are certainly solid, the H2H record between these sides adds much more confidence to our goal selections. Remarkably, only two of the last 16 matches between these sides did not see at least three goals scored. 12 of those 16 matches saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored while ten of 16 saw over 3.5 goals scored. 

Dortmund claimed a dominant 4:0 win when these sides last faced off at this venue. Six of the previous seven contests in Dortmund saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals.

Over 2.5 goals should prove Sunday´s safest selection but I'm confident we will also see BTTS and over 3.5 goals netted. BVB should also be backed to claim a high-scoring home win.
