The hosts had a memorable 2022-23 campaign, finishing in the top half of the table but not many expected them to maintain that form this season. Thiago Motta's side currently sit in sixth place, two points away from the European places and have lost just two of their last twelve matches in all competitions.

Since losing to AC Milan in their first league home game of the season, Bologna have been almost unstoppable at Renato Dall'Ara. I Rossoblù are unbeaten in their last ten league home games, winning eight and drawing two. Some of those victories came against the likes of Lazio, Roma and Atalanta, so beating Lecce this weekend shouldn't pose much of a challenge.

Lecce picked up an impressive win against Fiorentina last time out, but the Yellow and Reds have been very weak away from home so far this season. Roberto D'Aversa's men have not won any of their ten Serie A games on the road and were on the losing end in each of the last four. Lecce do not also have a good record against the hosts.
