Belgium will continue their preparation for the upcoming Euros when they welcome Montenegro to Brussel on Wednesday evening.

The hosts have not done well at major tournaments in recent years, but they have shown glimpes of their ambitions in recent games. Domenico Tedesco's team qualified for the European Championship in style, picking up 20 points from eight games and not suffering a single defeat.

Montenegro once again failed to qualify for the European Championship. Compared to 2019-20, when the ‘Brave Falcons’ finished bottom of their group without a single win, there was an improvement this time as they recorded three wins from their eight games.

Belgium vs Montenegro Betting Tips: Belgium to win

The Red Devils were last in action in March when they played friendlies against Ireland and England. Both games ended in draws but there were plenty of positives to take home from the performance against the Three Lions at the Wembley Stadium. The Belgians will also be playing at home, where they have won each of their last three fixtures, scoring eleven goals without conceding.

Montenegro winning each of their last two friendlies without conceding a goal will give them a boost. However, a Belgium team containing the likes of Leandro Trossard, Jérémy Doku and Kelvin de Bruyne should prove too much of a challenge for the visitors.

  • Best Tip: Home team to win
  • Belgium vs Montenegro prediction: 3-1
