One of the biggest fixtures in European club football, this is a contest that rarely fails to deliver in the entertainment stakes. Since 2007, these great clubs have faced each other 10 times in the Champions League with eight  of those meetings seeing BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. 

Six years on from their last UCL semi-final meeting - Real emerged 4:3 victors on that occasion - another high-tempo contest with goals at both ends is expected.

Bayern, while enduring a miserable domestic campaign by their lofty standards, have consistently proven their class in the European arena. Thomas Tuchel´s side have won seven and lost just one of ten games played in the UCL this season. 

Unbeaten in their last five matches across all competitions, Bayern picked up a fourth scuccesive victory with a 2:1 win against Eintracht on Saturday. While underdogs for this semi-final, the Bavarians cannot be under-estimated, particularly on their own patch.

Visiting Real Madrid make the trip to Germany after picking up yet another win in La Liga on Saturday. Carlo Ancelotti´s likely La Liga title winners now boast a huge 13 point advantage with just five games remaining in their league season. 

Goals are so often on the menu when Real play in their favourite competition. Los Merengues have seen BTTS in seven of their last nine UCL matches and in seven of their last ten on the road.

Ultimately, it's tough to pick a winner on Tuesday but we should be confident of at least seeing BTTS at the Allianz Arena.
