Seven days after handing Liverpool their first defeat at home this season, Atalanta will strive to clinch victory in the second leg at Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo and secure a spot in the Europa League Semi-Finals.

Atalanta became one of the better teams in Italy, securing Europe in four of the last five seasons. This year, the popular La Dea were good throughout the season and even looked like they could secure the Champions League. However, they really slowed down in the domestic competitions in the last month and a half as they lost the first leg game in the Cup Semi-Finals and dropped significantly in the league's table. Right now, they are 6th with 51 points, two points away from 7th-placed Lazio, but with a game played less. Still, in the Europa League, they were great, and I hope to continue with those types of performances. 

Liverpool played well throughout the season, and it even looked like they could have won the treble. However, they find themselves in a minor crisis, evident from their recent defeats in the FA Cup Quarterfinals, the first leg of the Europa League Semi-Finals, and the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, complicating their pursuit of the title. From a possible three titles just a month ago, they significantly lowered the odds of even one. Right now, they are 3rd in the Premier League, two points away from the top spot. And in the EL, they will have a massive mountain to climb, but the Reds are fully capable of doing so.

Both teams are in pretty poor form, winning just once in the last four matches, so we cannot speak about any advantages there. 

Even though Atalanta won the first leg convincingly, the result definitely did not reflect the situation on the field. Atalanta caught the Reds off guard, and we think that Klopp will make the necessary adjustments to put them in a position to make a comeback. Atalanta will most likely try to slow the pace of the game and look for their chances from the counters. We do not think that will work twice in a row.

After all, the Reds are a better team, and if they manage to score the first goal on time, they will not stop there. That's why we will try with a -1 AH, even though the odds on Liverpool are also acceptable.
