The Serie A season comes to an end on Sunday as European finalists Atalanta and Fiorentina face-off in a rearranged fixture at Gewiss Stadium.

The final fixture of the Serie A season takes place in Bergamo as Europa League winners Atalanta look to bring their campaign to an end with another three points.

The hosts are already assured of a top seed berth in next season's Champions League following their magnificent 3:0 win against Leverkusen in the final of the Europa League last week.

Coming into this weekend´s fixture, La Dea sit fourth in Serie A but could rise to third with a victory on Sunday. Two points behind Juventus, Gian Piero Gasperini´s side will be keen to put the seal on what has been a fantastic campaign for the Bergama-based side.

Atatlana have been in great form at the Gewiss Stadium. La Dea won six of their last seven matches in Bergamo, with at least two goals scored in all six victories. 

Contrastingly, Fiorentina bring their campaign to a conclusion after suffering European heartbreak against Olympiakos on Wednesday. The Viola have now lost back-to-back Conference League finals over the past 12 months following their painful defeat in extra-time in Athens earlier this week.

In Serie A, Vincenzo Italiano´s men can finish no higher than eighth, with the visitors four points behind Lazio who will instead compete in next season´s Conference League.

On the road, Fiorentina have struggled with defeats suffered in five of their last nine road fixtures. Considering the events of the past week, another away day setback seems likely on Sunday.
