African qualifications for the World Cup should be very interesting, as only the first from each group will secure a place in the main tournament. In group D, Cameroon, as the major favorite, is first with seven points from three matches. Their next opponent, Angola, could compete for second place, giving them another chance in the playoff.

Many thought that Cape Verde could be the team that could challenge Cameroon for the top position in the group, but the home team's efficiency was off the charts, so Marc Brys' team picked up a win that will mean a lot for the team's confidence.
