The knockout phase of the UEFA Women's Champions League kicks-off in Amsterdam this Tuesday evening as Ajax takes on Chelsea at the Johan Cruijf arena.

An entertaining contest can be expected when Ajax and Chelsea lockhorns on Tuesday evening. The Dutch hosts claimed their place in the knockout phase of the Women's UCL after sneaking through in second-place with ten points, and behind group winner PSG on H2H record only.
In Amsterdam, Suzanne Bakker´s side were particularly impressive with three wins secured from three games played against PSG, Roma and Bayern Munich. Conversely, Ajax picked up just one point from three road fixtures in the group phase. De Godendochters won all five home UCL matches this season including qualifiers against Dinamo-BGU and Zurich.
Recent form has also been strong in Amsterdam. Bakker´s ladies have wom their last eight matches with a whopping 35 goals scored in the process.
Chelsea make the trip to the Netherlands also in good form. Emma Hayes side have won their last four matches including a 3:1 win against London rivals Arsenal last Friday.
In the UCL, Chelsea emerged as dominant winners of Group D. The Blues remained unbeaten in six group phase fixtures with 14 points picked up. On the road, Chelsea won two of three group stage matches although they were held to a 2:2 draw at Real Madrid who lost each of their other five group matches.
While Chelsea are favourites to pick up the win on Tuesday, Ajax home form cannot be ignored so I'm putting my faith in BTTS at the famous Johan Cruijf arena. Ajax rarely fail to score at home while Chelsea saw both teams scoring in two of three group fixtures on their travels. I expect a similar outcome in what should prove a keenly contested Champions League encounter.
