Following a disapponting defeat on their travels at the weekend, Ankaragucu return to home soil on Tuesday when they take on Besiktas in the Turkish Cup at Eryaman Stadyumu.

Just four days on from a 2:0 defeat in Istanbul, Ankaragucu have the chance to score immediate revenge in Tuesday's Cup clash in Akara.

While the hosts have generally struggled away from home this season, their record at the Eryaman Stadyumu is a strong one. Emre Belözoğlu´s side have won seven and lost just one of their last ten matches on home soil. Contrastingly, Ankaragucu have failed to win any of their last nine away fixtures, including their 2:0 away road loss at Besiktas on Friday.

Goals can usually be expected in Ankara with the home side seeing over 2.5 netted in five of their last six games at Eryaman Stadyumu. 

Visiting Besiktas, while boasting a 14-point advantage on the hosts in the Super Lig, the away side can take little for granted on Tuesday. The Kara Kartallar have won just two of their last seven on their travels, while they suffered Turkish Cup elimination at this venue last season. Each of the last three meetings between these sides in Ankara also saw BTTS. 

Neither team look like clear favourites in this match, but I expect Ankaragucu to at least avoid defeat. Emre Belözoğlu´s men are much stronger on home soil and with Besiktas inconsistent on their travels, I fancy Ankaragucu to at least force extra-time in a game where both teams are likely to net.
