After only five points in 11 league matches, Varbergs are the worst team in Allsvenskan. Goteborg and AIK Stockholm are only two points ahead, but Varbergs urgently need points to keep pace with the teams in the safe zone. Varbergs lost five of the last six matches. In the previous game, they lost 2-0 at home against Hacken. Guests played with ten players after Samuel Gustafson's red card late in the first half but still secured an easy win. 

Halmstad last season played in Superettan, the second level of the Swedish football system. It was expected they to struggle in Allsvenskan, but so far, they are a mid-table team. Halmstad are without a loss in the last three games. Last weekend, they played 0-0 at home against Hammarby. That match was fairly even, so it is no wonder the teams split the points.

Varbergs is looking like the worst team in Allsvenskan, so Halmstad should have a good chance to continue a good run and win on Saturday afternoon at Paskbergsvallen.
