Premier League action takes place at Bramall Lane this weekend as bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United hosts fellow strugglers Burnley.

Sheffield United and Burnley square-off this weekend knowing only a win will do in their respective bids to avoid relegation  With both teams desperately in need of three points, a tense occasion could be on the cards at Bramall Lane. However, recent stats suggest we can expect a high-scoring contest with both teams posting consistent numbers in the goal markets.

Home team Sheffield United have seen over 2.5 goals scored in 13 of their last 15 home EPL matches while only one of their six most recent fixtures failed to see at least three goals scored. The Blades also saw BTTS in four of their last five Premier League contests. 

Likewise, Burnley have similarly consistent numbers. Sheffield United suffered a humiliating 5:0 defeat when these sides last met and now under the charge of Chris Wilder, will expect a much more positive result this weekend. The Blades have picked up high-scoring draws against Fulham and Chelsea in their two most recent EPL matches. 

Burnley come into this contest in somewhat improved form. The Clarets have lost just one of their last six EPL matches, and will know that a win in this fixture is surely a must if they are to have any real hope of escaping the relegation trap-door.

In the end, it's tough to pick a winner, but with both teams searching for a win, I expect BTTS and over 2.5 goals to land this weekend.
