In one of his recent interviews, coach Kjetil Rekdal spoke about the poor form of Rosenborg. He said it is tough after being booed out of the home ground three times in a row. He also said the team has many newcomers and must play on a much higher level than they are used to.
Per Cijan Skjelbred received a red card in the last match against Bodo/Glimt and will serve his suspension against Haugesund.
Three players will miss the game with injuries: Jonathan Augstinsson, Carlo Holse, and Ole Christian Saeter.

Haugesund team news
In one of his interviews, assistant coach Espen Bull-Tornoe spoke to the media. He said the morale of the group is excellent despite not playing great. He also said that Rosenborg is under a lot of pressure, which they will try to exploit.
Backup forward Alexander Soderlund missed the previous three games with a thigh injury and should miss the Rosenborg game.
Central defender Claus Niyukuri also missed the last three games with an injury. The club announced he started to train individually and is close to returning to the field but will most likely miss the next game.
