On Saturday afternoon, Europe-chasing Freiburg will welcome the relegation-threatened Wolfsburg in the 31st round of the Bundesliga at Europa-Park Stadion in Freiburg.

Freiburg finished 6th and 5th in the last two seasons, almost securing the Champions League. This year, they had a pretty stable season as they were constantly flirting with European spots. Right now, they are 7th with 40 points, five points away from 6th placed Eintracht Frankfurt and the ECL spot. However, if Bayer Leverkusen wins in the DFB Pokal Finals against the Bundesliga 2 team (Kaiserslautern), Freiburg can secure Europe even from seventh place. But they must keep winning points because Augsburg and Hoffenhaim are only one point behind. 

Wolfsburg are having one of the worst seasons in a while. Throughout the season, they have slowly dropped in the league standings and are now in 13th place, just four points away from the relegation playout. Still, they objectively have a much better remaining schedule than the 16th-placed Bochum, so we believe Wolfsburg should stay in the league without too much trouble. 

Freiburg vs Wolfsburg: Both teams to score

Even though Freiburg are not even remotely close to being one of the better offensive teams in the league with 42 goals scored, they rarely fail to score at home. So far, in 21 games in all competitions, they scored at least once on 20 occasions! 

Since the winter break, Wolfsburg have been terrible, winning just twice in 14 matches. Still, despite those poor results, they scored in 11 games. 

Meanwhile, neither team have been impressive defensively. Additionally, they will miss some key pieces for their defenses, which is also a massive plus for this type of bet.
