Both teams come into Thursday's contest in need of the points having made slow starts to their respective Allsvenskan campaigns. 

Hosts Norrkoping have managed to pick up four points from their last two league outings having lost their first two games of the campaign. Bouncing back from heavy defeats against Malmo (5:1) and Mjallby (3:0), Andreas Alm´s side scored a 1:0 win against GAIS before a 1:1 draw at IFK last time out.

While Alm´s men have improved their form in the past couple of weeks, Elfsborg are looking to avoid a third successive league defeat on Thursday.
