A mouth-watering encounter awaits us this weekend when Manchester City and Chelsea meet in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley.
The Citizens enter this game three days after seeing their hopes of another treble dashed in the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City were knocked out of the competition after losing 4-3 on penalties, but a double is still very much within reach. However, this weekend's opponents, Chelsea FC, have not been easy to beat at times this season.
Since losing to Liverpool in the EFL Cup final 0-1, Chelsea have not suffered a defeat, going eight unbeaten (five wins and three draws). The Blues most recent game was a 6-0 thrashing of Everton in the Premier League and will also be buoyed by the fact that they have not lost either of their two league games against the Citizens this season.
Manchester City vs Chelsea Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals
One of City's weaknesses this season has been their defence. The Citizens have conceded more goals than all the teams in the top three in the Premier League are also without a clean sheet in their last five outings. Just one of those games ended with Under 2.5 goals.
Spectators have been for a real treat in the recent games of Chelsea. The Blues have scored at least two goals in each of their last eight outings and I don’t think that run will end this weekend. All eight matches produced at least four goals.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- Manchester City vs Chelsea prediction: 3-2

Manchester City team news
City didn’t suffer any injuries in their Champions League quarter final clash with Real Madrid but Pep is expected to make wholesale changes to the side that was on the pitch from kickoff in that game.
Jérémy Doku, Julián Álvarez, John Stones and Mateo Kovačić who all featured as substitutes in that game will be among those who could be promoted into the starting eleven.

Chelsea team news
Enzo Fernández missed the win over Everton in the Premier League last time out due to injury and is a doubt for this weekend’s game.
Should the Argentine miss this game, he will be joined on the sidelines by Wesley Fofana (cruciate ligament), Roméo Lavia (hamstring), Reece James (surgery), Lesley Ugochukwu (hamstring), Levi Colwill (toe) and Axel Disasi (muscle).
