Liverpool FC will be looking to keep their Premier League title chances alive when they host bottom-half-of-the-table Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds had the English top flight title in their own hands less than a week ago but a recent slump in form has not helped them. It all started with their elimination in the FA Cup quarter-finals, when they lost 4:3 to Manchester United. Jürgen Klopp's side won back to back games after that, but defeats in their last two games against United and Atalanta have exacerbated their slump in form.
Crystal Palace meanwhile come into Sunday's game on the back of a humiliating 2-4 defeat to Manchester City in the league. The Eagles have not won any of their last five league games, but will be buoyed by the return of their key player Michael Olise from injury.
Betting Tips Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Home & over 2.5 goals
Liverpool haven't exactly played well in recent weeks but you can't underestimate them at Anfield. Klopp's men boast more points at home than any other team in the Premier League this season and have yet to suffer defeat. Six of the last seven games at this ground produced at least three goals.
Crystal Palace have one of the worst away records in this division this season. The Eagles are winless in their last eleven away games in the Premier League, losing seven and drawing four. However, Oliver Glasner's men will take heart from the fact that they scored in eight of those fixtures.
- Best Tip: Home & Over 2.5 goals
- Liverpool vs Crystal Palace prediction: 2-1
