Following an unexpected relegation last year thanks to an awful end of the season, Leicester City entered the season as one of the main candidates for promotion and return to the English top-flight division. And for the majority of the season, the Foxes truly looked like the best team in the league. Still, they weren't on that level in the last part of the season and have complicated their lives. Right now, they are 2nd with 88 points, one point away from 1st placed Ipswich, and one point above 3rd-placed Leeds, but with a game played less. The Foxes must start winning points again because direct promotion is slowly slipping away. Luckily for them, the other promotion candidates underperformed in the last games as well. 

West Bromwich Albion were relegated from the Premier League in the 2020/21 season and finished in 10th and 8th place in the following two seasons, missing the playoffs both times. Last year, they missed it just by three points! This year, the Baggies are on pace to secure the playoff spot as they hold the 5th place, seven points away from 7th-placed Hull, although with a game played more. Still, with only three rounds, WBA are in a good situation.

Leicester City lost back-to-back games vs Plymouth and Millwall while failing to score on both occasions. If we look further back, it is evident that the Foxes are not at an expected level, winning only twice in seven matches. 

West Bromwich Albion are among the best teams for this type of bet, as they were under 2.5 goals in 24 of 43 matches (56%). 

In the first h2h game this season, Leicester City won 2:1, but two of three goals came really late in the game (89th and 94th minutes). There weren't too many chances in that game, and we could easily see a low-scoring game. Now, with Leicester out of form, we think that under 2.5 goals is the safest option.
