Now up to second in Serie A, Juventus will be expected to maintain their winning form when they host struggling Cremonese at the Allianz Stadium.

Having looked likely to miss out on Champions League football, Juve´s recent form, coupled with the decision to remove the 15-point penalty reduction, has left the Old Lady on the verge of a return to Europe´s top table next season.

In contrast to their high-flying hosts, Cremonese arrives in Turin second to bottom of the division and six points short of safety with just four games remaining in the Serie A season.

While Juventus have struggled for consistency on their travels this season, Max Allegri´s side remains strong on home soil. Winning 11 of their last 15 while losing just twice, Juve covered the -1 handicap in seven of those victories but not in their two most recent home wins against Verona and Lecce.

Currently second in the division following an excellent win at Atalanta last weekend but just three points ahead of fourth-placed Inter, Juventus can ill-afford any slip-ups in their remaining fixtures with Champions League qualification still up for grabs in a tightly grouped top six. 

Cremonese comes into this fixture knowing a return to Serie B seems likely, with the visitors some six points short of safety. However, the visitors have enjoyed an uptick in form in recent weeks, with three wins and just one loss in their six most recent matches. Collecting 11 points during that run, remarkably, La Creni had amassed just 13 in their previous 28 matches.

While a great escape seems unlikely with Cremonese facing another away game at Lazio in a fortnight, the visitors will give everything to pull off the shock victory and considering their current form could prove a handful for a Juve team that has laboured to narrow one-goal wins against Lecce and Verona - two sides currently in the bottom five. 

With that in mind, we´ll take a chance on Cremonese losing by no more than one goal at decent odds in what should prove a more competitive contest than oddsmakers might suggest.
